Firebase Cloud Function - Outside REST API call

Bit of an amateur with javascript and not exactly sure how to implement this or what library to import? I've seen that I can use cors or axios but when I tried to add these it failed on adding the library to the project.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Calling something like this from a scheduled cloud function is what I am looking for. https://developer.marvel.com

How to show number of registered users in Laravel based on usertype?
