How to update WordPress plugin through ZIP file without loosing plugin's data?

I created a plugin to manage PDF files. When the PDF file is added it got stored in plugin's folder and entry with path reference is stored in database. How can I update that plugin through ZIP file without loosing files stored in plugin's folder and database.

How to show number of registered users in Laravel based on usertype?

So, I am trying to predict the model but its throwing error like it has 10 features but it expacts only 1.
