How to fix an Axios network error in a React Native fetch to a python Flask API?

I have this simple API

from flask import Flask, request
from flask_restful import Api, Resource
from flask_cors import CORS

from usingSavedModel import testImage

app = Flask(__name__)
CORS(app)
api = Api(app)

class Mushrooms(Resource):
    def post(self):
        image_url = request.json.get("image_url")
        #probabilities = testImage(image_url)
        return {"probabilities": "chicken"}

api.add_resource(Mushrooms, "/mushrooms")

if __name__ == "__main__":
    app.run(debug=True)

And I am trying to access this API from a react native file:

useEffect(() => {
    const sendRequest = async () => {
      url = "http://127.0.0.1:5000/mushrooms";
      try {
        const response = await axios.post(url, { image_url: "aa" });
        console.log(response.data);
      } catch (error) {
        console.log(error);
      }
    };
    sendRequest();
  });

No matter what I do I keep getting:

{"message":"Network Error","name":"AxiosError","stack":"AxiosError: Network Error\n    at handleError (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:150550:39)\n    at call (native)\n    at dispatchEvent (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:31742:31)\n    at setReadyState (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:30363:33)\n    at __didCompleteResponse (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:30174:29)\n    at apply (native)\n    at anonymous (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:30299:52)\n    at apply (native)\n    at emit (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:2292:40)\n    at apply (native)\n    at __callFunction (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:2826:36)\n    at anonymous (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:2587:31)\n    at __guard (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:2777:15)\n    at callFunctionReturnFlushedQueue (http://192.168.50.98:19000/node_modules%5Cexpo%5CAppEntry.bundle?platform=android&dev=true&hot=false:2586:21)","config":{"transitional":{"silentJSONParsing":true,"forcedJSONParsing":true,"clarifyTimeoutError":false},"adapter":["xhr","http"],"transformRequest":[null],"transformResponse":[null],"timeout":0,"xsrfCookieName":"XSRF-TOKEN","xsrfHeaderName":"X-XSRF-TOKEN","maxContentLength":-1,"maxBodyLength":-1,"env":{},"headers":{"Accept":"application/json, text/plain, */*","Content-Type":"application/json"},"method":"post","url":"http://127.0.0.1:5000/mushrooms","data":"{\"image_url\":\"aa\"}"},"code":"ERR_NETWORK","status":null}

I thought it was a cors issue which is why in the API I tried using CORS(app) but it didn't help. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Confusion between commands.Bot and discord.Client | Which one should I use?

Whenever you look at YouTube tutorials or code from this website there is a real variation. Some developers use client = discord.Client(intents=intents) while the others use bot = commands.Bot(command_prefix="something", intents=intents) . Now I know slightly about the difference but I get errors from different places from my code when I use either of them and its confusing. Especially since there has a few changes over the years in discord.py it is hard to find the real difference. I tried sticking to discord.Client then I found that there are more features in commands.Bot . Then I found errors when using commands.Bot . An example of this is: When I try to use commands.Bot client = commands.Bot(command_prefix=">",intents=intents) async def load(): for filename in os.listdir("./Cogs"): if filename.endswith(".py"): client.load_extension(f"Cogs.{filename[:-3]}") The above doesnt giveany response from my Cogs ...
